The Law Center offers two complementary but unique spaces to get support in your journey toward shared leadership and worker self-direction:

  • At our Resilient Communities Legal Cafe, you can be paired with an attorney for individual support around the legal dimensions of forming or transitioning to a worker self-directed nonprofit (or other entity, such as a cooperative, that practices shared leadership).  You can also get support with questions you may have around strategy, governance, or other dimensions of shared leadership. RSVP here.

  • At our Solidari-Tea Time sessions, designed to be a companion to our legal cafes, we offer coaching and thought partnership around challenges you may be facing in the cultural, relational and non-legal aspects of building shared leadership. Solidari-Tea Time sessions can be structured as large group, small group, or 1:1 conversations in breakout rooms depending on participant preferences that day. RSVP here.

We also invite you to join our community of practice, the Nonprofit Democracy Network, to get advice and support from other practitioners of shared leadership and participatory democracy.
