Valeria is an attorney based in Puerto Rico, practicing with Grupo Legal Acosta & Díaz, LLC (GLAD). She specializes in assisting clients who wish to organize and operate as solidarity, cooperative, or social enterprises, promoting sustainable and equitable business models. Valeria graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with degrees in Political Science and Gender Studies, and later earned her law degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. She is passionate about land justice and economic community development, and bringing this commitment to her work across the islands of Puerto Rico. She currently serves on the board of PROFAMILIAS, a feminist grassroots organization dedicated to sexual and reproductive health in Puerto Rico.
