Therese Davis is a Bay Area–based artist, trainer, coach, and cultural organizer whose work bridges creative expression, healing, and community-centered economic justice. She is the co-founder of Arts.Co.Lab and the founder of the San Francisco Songbird Festival, an artist-led platform celebrating voice, collaboration, and creative freedom across disciplines.
As both an artist and educator, Therese designs and facilitates workshops, fellowships, and cohort-based trainings that support artists in translating vision into fundable, sustainable creative work. Through Arts.Co.Lab’s programs—including Transformative Grant Writing—she has supported more than 260 artists in navigating the funding landscape, collectively helping artists raise over $2.6 million in grants, fellowships, and project support.
Therese’s practice is grounded in care, clarity, and cultural equity. Her trainings create affirming spaces where artists build funder-ready language, strengthen creative confidence, and develop practical tools to sustain their work while remaining deeply connected to their values and communities.
