Join the Sustainable Economies Law Center, the US Federation of Worker Cooperatives, the East Bay Community Law Center, and the Democracy at Work Institute to learn about the innovative policy changes being offered to the 2015 legislative session for the State of California! If enacted, these policy changes will affect cooperative enterprises across California!
WHAT: Info session & discussion with USFWC members about a California state bill being introduced in 2015 designed to:
- Update the existing California Cooperative statute to support the establishment & growth of worker coops
- Remove barriers to starting & operating a worker coop
- Make information about worker cooperative business model publicly available
