Providing legal services for community-based rural economic development in Redding

Will Pasley has a small private practice in Redding, CA serving individuals, nonprofits, businesses, and cooperatives, in the areas of coop law, contracts, real estate and housing law, small business and nonprofit law, and wills and trusts.  He believes that cooperatives and a focus on growing the local economy can revitalize depressed rural economies, especially those that have traditionally relied on resource extraction and outside companies.
Will is on the board of KKRN, a Shasta County community radio station, as well as being involved in a few other local activist groups focusing on politics, civil rights, and progressive community-building.  He marched over 500 miles in two marches against the corruption of money in politics, one from Los Angeles to Sacramento in 2014 and one from Philly to DC in 2016.  He enjoys figuring out puzzles and understanding the ways systems function. He received his J.D. in "Social Justice Lawyering" from the University of California Hastings College of the Law and a B.A. in Anthropology from Brown University.
