Around the country, new models of community investment funds are being deployed as tools for social justice and racial equity. And as these funds spread and grow, they are providing new local investment opportunities for community members. A recent collaboration, between the Solidago Foundation and the National Coalition for Community Capital, just completed a new handbook on these funds. Come hear about the case studies on a dozen of these funds, as well as about the legal issues and implementation strategies, from co-authors Brian Beckon, Janice Shade, and Michael Shuman.
