Our primary goal is increasing worker ownership in low-income communities. To this end, we are launching a pilot Coop Academy in the fall of 2014 to support new and growing cooperatives that want to grow to at least 15 worker-owners. We are also working with Laney College to design a curriculum for a course on cooperatives at community colleges.
