Cooperative Conversion (MCLE)

Donate below to view this video (recorded at the 2019 Social Enterprise Law Seminar) presented by Ra Criscitiello (SEIU UHW) and Sushil Jacob (Tuttle Law Group). We will e-mail you a link to the CLE video and instructions on how to obtain California participatory CLE credit.

Co-op organizer Ra Criscitiello and Co-op Attorney Sushil Jacob will share their experience organizing cooperative conversion that converted Oakland's largest dog daycare facility into a hybrid worker/consumer cooperative. The session will cover cooperative formation, bylaws, governance structure, capital structure, capital raising, management and onboarding of new consumer and worker members.
