Help us secure the first-ever Berkeley City budget appropriation for worker cooperative development! Acting on our recommendations, the Mayor is proposing to add $80,000 to the City budget for worker cooperative development, including funding efforts to help retiring business owners sell the business to their workers.

Please join us at the Berkeley City Council meeting at 6:00pm on Tuesday, May 28th to show your support! Our item is on the Consent Calendar, meaning that it's first up on the agenda and we'll only need to stick around for the first hour of the meeting (from 6-7pm).
