Anavictoria is a bilingual Arts & Entertainment attorney and provides legal services to
artists of all disciplines, including poets, musicians, sculptors, fashion designers, etc.
Working at the intersection of the solidarity economy and the arts, her goal is to help
minimize systemic inequalities that affect financial growth and sustainability for the
creative community by offering intellectual property, contracts, and commercial
transactions legal expertise to small businesses and individuals working to succeed as
entrepreneurs in the arts.
Anavictoria has extensive experience in arts & entertainment law, constitutional law, and
legislative advocacy. Additionally, she brings more than eight years of experience
developing partnerships and legislative campaigns to advance racial and economic
justice. She is an attorney and artist who deeply understands systemic inequality, and
she brings innovative insight for finding practical solutions to create sustainable change.
She is driven by her passions for community empowerment, social equity, and uplifting
the history, contributions, and needs of Latin American communities.
She is also a former faculty member of Berkeley Law School’s Policy Advocacy Clinic,
where she taught law and policy students while also advancing legislative campaigns to
eliminate juvenile court fees and fines in multiple states, including California, Illinois,
New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Puerto Rico. Anavictoria has a B.A. in American
Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from Northwestern
Pritzker School of Law, Chicago.
