Our annual grassroots fundraising campaign will include a series of events during May for lawyers, law students, organizers, and activists interested in meeting this moment by asking what role they will play in the movement at this critical time. Through a series of discussions, webinars, and trainings, we hope to learn, in community, how to hone our unique skills and capacities, and do our part in the movement in our communities.

Online Facilitation in a Worker Self Directed Organization

In this training, we’ll go over some simple tools we’ve developed over the years for engaged online facilitation. We’ll talk about threshold questions, spectograms, fishbowls, 1:1 follow-ups, and right sizing conversations for the space. We’ll also leave some space for audience participation and questions.
This is Part 3 of our three-part offering: Getting All Hands on Deck - Facilitation Tools for Thriving Groups. Join one, two, or all three to build your skillset with participatory group facilitation.

ZoomSparkly Charms for Serious Times

Need some love, inspiration, sparks of energy, lucky charms, or a good laugh? Please join us for an hour of treats: short stories, insights, practices, and contemplations to break up the heaviness of our times. We’ll share some of our favorite tricks for breaking spells of fear, competition, and isolation, helping us all remember how love and cooperation can free us.
In our first, second, and third editions of Lucky Charms for Lawyers, we offered tips and tricks to promote wellness, navigate conflicts, and stand up to hierarchies of power and worth in the legal profession. Now, we're sharing our learnings with a broader audience because we need ALL HANDS ON DECK to build a more sparkly and loving world.
Do you have access needs? We strive to host inclusive, accessible events. To request an accommodation (such as ASL interpreting) or for inquiries about accessibility, please contact Tia at [email protected] by May 8th.
This event is part of our All Hands on Deck Grassroots Fundraising Campaign.
