Our friends at PEERS are hosting “SHARE: Catalyzing the Sharing Economy,” the first conference in the country to address the sharing economy’s most pressing questions and emerging opportunities.
Janelle Orsi, SELC's Cartoonist-in-Chief, will be participating in the conference discussing SELC's work, the needed changes in the legal structures to usher in the sharing economy, and what types of organizational structures will help build a more sharing society. One of her talks will be, "Who's Afraid of Homemade Sweet Potato Pies? Legality and the Sharing Economy."
The sharing economy is at a critical inflection point. This rapidly evolving model has global and local implications for markets, cities, and lives. Your voice matters as we meet at the crossroads of the new and old economy. Come discuss policy opportunities, ownership models, financing the sharing economy, and more!
The inaugural two-day conference will take place May 13 and 14 in San Francisco.
