Minnow secures land tenure for farmers of color and indigenous communities in California.

We are a people of color-led organization committed to advancing land justice through our work on farmland tenure, indigenous sovereignty, workplace democracy, and mobilizing resources.

Decommodifying land, rematriating land to Indigenous peoples, and securing land tenure for farmers of color are unfortunately still considered ‘radical’ ideas within the dominant culture.

Monthly grassroot supporters allow us to do this radical work and avoid diluting intersectional solutions to meet constricting fundraising criteria set by the philanthropic sector.
