At the Law Center, Ari's work focuses on land and housing, specifically working with organizations that are unselling land and creating homes and healing spaces for unhoused and BIPOC people. He's drawn to this work through his relationships with elders who've spent their lives providing mutual aid, housing others, and bringing people together around warm meals. He is excited to support and expand trans people's involvement in the solidarity economy movement. Previously, Ari did harm reduction work, taught elementary school students, farmed, walked dogs, studied Jewish texts, and supported incarcerated trans people. He loves long bike rides along the Hudson River and backpacking across mountain ranges and forests on the east coast.
