We've made it so far together. Now we need YOU to show up for the FINAL vote on the City of Berkeley's budget.
This year's budget process has an exceptional number of initiatives competing for City funds, meaning that the worker coop development programs we've been fighting for are at risk of being unfunded.
In order to prioritize worker coops, City Councilmembers need to see a strong showing of support at the June 25th meeting. Please, if you care about economic democracy, small local business, and the economic welfare of the 99%, can you come and say so? We need you there with us.
And don't worry if you prefer not to speak -- we could still use your help! By showing up, you can cede your speaking time to other supporters.
