& Subin DeVar's Send-Off!
Come celebrate the building of community resilience through community-owned renewable energy with Sustainable Economies Law Center staff and cultivate connections at our upcoming Energy Happy Hour! It'll be a chance to hang out, catch up, and celebrate our work on community energy together with our friends and collaborators. Also, this is a great opportunity to send-off Subin DeVar, our Community Renewable Energy Program Director, who’ll be moving to Washington, DC on April 20th. (Don't worry, he'll continue to work for the Law Center from there!)
Monday, April 16, 5-7pm
At the Sustainable Economies Law Center's office in Downtown Oakland
Energy democracy, climate equity, and clean energy economy advocates and more will be in attendance. This is a great place not only to learn about the Law Center's energy work -- such as piloting the Permanent Community Energy Cooperative and advocating for policies that support community renewables -- but also a place to meet the movers and shakers seeding communities across the Bay toward a more humane economy!
Please join Sustainable Economies Law Center for an informal event with drinks, snacks, and stories of cultivating community resilience through community ownership of clean energy at our Downtown Oakland office (just a short walk from 12th Street BART station)!
