Cooperative Case Study (MCLE)

Donate below to view this video (recorded at the 2019 Social Enterprise Law Seminar) presented by Tim Huet (In-house counsel, Arizmendi Associations). We will e-mail you a link to the CLE video and instructions on how to obtain California participatory CLE credit.

This workshop will address legal, financial, and governance considerations in development of cooperatives within a federated context (the Arizmendi Association is a hybrid worker-consumer cooperative made up of worker collectives). The Association's governance and finance will be delineated but the workshop emphasis will be upon lessons learned and continuing experiments regarding the legal structure, finance, and governance of collectively-managed cooperatives.
