About the Speakers:

Yassi Eskandari is the Policy Director of the Sustainable Economies Law Center. In 2017, Yassi passed the California bar exam without going to law school. She is honored to join a movement of lawyers who are making our economy work for the planet and the 99 percent.

Ricardo Samir Nuñez is the Director of Economic Democracy at the Law Center. He's also becoming a lawyer without going to law school through the California Law Office Study Program.

Chris Tittle is the the Director of Organizational Resilience. He also passed the California bar exam without ever going to law school.

Angeles Gottheil lives in Oakland, around the corner from Lago Grill Taqueria in Lake Merritt. She moved to the Bay in 2008 and grew up in southern California since she was 5, when her parents won the greencard lottery and immigrated from Argentina. She works as a financial advisor and is interested in collaborating towards sustainable community investment. After deciding she didn't want to spend the money on law school, Angeles learned about the law office study program and filed her intent to study this year. Now she's looking forward to taking the baby bar.
