Ace is a rising 2L at Stanford Law School. Though she's spent most of the past decade in California, she's currently spending her summer in San Marcos, TX with her family and their many animals.

Ace is helping SELC with its housing and worker cooperative projects. She was drawn to this work because it pushes her outside of the typical box of legal doctrine and enables her to radically imagine a non-extractive world in which workers are fulfilled and everyone is housed.

Recently, Ace has been lucky to witness the growing friendship between one of her family's dogs and their chickens. It helps to remind her of how great it feels to cultivate relationships with other people in a time where people may feel a little distant.
