Expanding Homemade Food Sales Opportunities

The Sustainable Economies Law Center's Policy Director, Christina Oatfield, is hitting the road to discuss the intersection of resilient local food systems, entrepreneurship, and access to healthy foods. Hosted by Long Beach Fresh and Building Healthy Communities: Long Beach, Christina will be part of a discussion about the opportunities and barriers posed by current laws, and ways we can shape future changes to the food system to allow more good homemade food to be sold! The event is open to residents wanting to start small food businesses and those who already sell hand-crafted foods. A light meal will be provided, and child-watch and interpretation are available upon request.
