SELC is an amazing organization and they are really setting the trend on how to solve problems within the community. Our communities need more organizations to offer solutions in the same manner that SELC is offering. Great job to the whole staff at SELC.

I would like this donation to go directly to the efforts I getting the new AB passed to allow urban gardeners to grow, share, and sell. Thank you to all of you who are working hard towards this goal. I will be following weekly to see how progress is going. I would like to donate more. I am also contacting a friend of mine who recently initiated and campaigned to get an AB passed this last year… she’s a great leader and speaker… spoke about her AB multiple times on TV… and has been the Sacramento countless numbers of time to speak. She would be a great asset to your team. She also lives in a city where urban agriculture is being threatened. A community that goes to great lengths to even get things to grow in such a short growing season…. is now being threatened. I am just so excited that I ran across this.

This is what we are about:

We plant seeds that one day will grow.

We water seeds already planted, knowing that they hold future promise.

We lay foundations that will need further development.

We provide yeast that produces effects beyond our capabilities.

    We cannot do everything

and there is a sense of liberation in realizing that.

This enables us to do something,

and to do it very well.

It may be incomplete, but it is a beginning, a step along the way,

an opportunity for God’s grace to enter and do the rest.

We may never see the end results,

but that is the difference between the master builder and the worker.

We are workers, not master builders,

    ministers, not messiahs.

We are prophets of a future not our own.

My contribution was small, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have an impact. Enjoy the legal services your receiving and feel free to pay it forward for the next person to receive legal advise.
