SELC's annual Fall Celebration & Showcase is coming soon! We hold this event every year to celebrate the year's successes, connect with our friends, and thank our supporters in person. As we move into Fall, this is our opportunity to harvest the fruits of our work supporting the transition to more just and resilient local economies - so come on out and give thanks with us!
Join us at Impact Hub Berkeley in the David Brower Center on November 21, 7pm to 9pm, for an evening of carnival-themed entertainment, an update on what we've accomplished this year and what we hope to do next year, a silent auction featuring items from some of our favorite local businesses and organizations...and great food and drinks, too! And as always, there will be an abundance of squash!
Fun and Games: Photo Booth, Share-opoly, Sharing Economy Fortune Telling, music, a hyper local currency, and more!
Cartoons and Inspiration: by Janelle Orsi!
Food: catered by the new worker-owned cooperative, Fusion Latina!
Drinks: from Linden Street Brewing, Handley Cellars, and House Kombucha!
Silent auction: gifts certificates from Oaklandish, the local organic catering cooperative Local Flavor, the San Francisco Symphony, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Shotgun Players, Rock Water Healing Arts massage, Four Barrel Coffee PLUS local homemade jams, local artwork, autographed books, Spanish language tutoring, and much, much more!
Get your tickets now and support the movement for more just and resilient local economies! As a community-based organization, we are supported by individuals like you and all proceeds from this event will help sustain our work in 2014.
Many thanks for your support, we hope to see you there!
