Teach-in: Rebuilding a Farm Commons

Activists, urban farmers, and anybody who eats! Join us for a teach-in at Alchemy Collective Cafe.

What does a community-controlled food & farm economy look like? Join us for a facilitated discussion on strategies and examples of community control and community investment that are bringing back the notion of a "Food & Farm Commons."

The Law Center's Food & Farm Attorney, Neil Thapar, will present on the limitations of our current food & farm system, describe examples of community-controlled food and farm projects, and facilitate a Q & A session.

Presenter: Neil leads Sustainable Economies Law Center’s Food and Farm Program. He is passionate about building collective power within communities of color to recreate a healthy, just, and resilient food system. | Contact: [email protected].
