East Bay Community Law Center's Community Economic Justice clinic will present on the general process of obtaining permits with a focus on nonprofit permitting. Specifically, they will explain how business owners and managers of other entities can find out what permits they need to operate lawfully, the general process of applying for and obtaining a permit, and how to submit a permit application. They will also present information on specific permits pertaining to nonprofits, such as permits for fundraisers involving bingo and other games of chance.
This teach-in is intended for activists, worker co-op members, legal professionals, students, small business owners, and nonprofit employees!
