The Law Center is launching a new resource called the “Democratize the Economy Policy Toolkit,” which outlines policy changes that movements can use to shift power in property and ownership systems. The Toolkit surveys previous policy advocacy work that the Law Center has engaged in and highlights opportunities for future reforms. The proposed interventions—which could be implemented in state or local legislatures—suggest pathways to win and implement community stewardship of land, worker ownership, financial justice, energy democracy, and more.
