That's why SELC and Bay Localize are getting together to co-host this month's celebration of community resilience at Awaken Cafe in downtown Oakland. Come on out to meet staff, friends, and fans of both organizations, share some drinks and snacks, and swap stories of resilient communities!

This is a great time to not only learn about SELC and Bay Localize's work supporting grassroots economic empowerment and community resilience, but also a place to meet the movers and shakers of the new economy! Community members, sharing economy legal professionals, urban gardeners, social justice advocates, and more will be in attendance.
