These historically hard-fought rights are crucial to know and will help smooth your interaction with the law enforcement and other governmental agencies.

A Teach-in at the Resilient Communities Legal Cafe

April 2nd, from 6:00 - 7:30pm at Liberating Ourselves Makerspace

At this teach-in, Hasmik Geghamyan and Will Pasley will discuss about your rights under both criminal and civil law. For the criminal portion of the workshop, they will provide an overview of what to do when confronted by a law enforcement agency and what to do to protect yourself and not give away your constitutional rights. For the civil portion of the workshop, they will discuss due process rights with various government agencies, including when confronted with compliance violations, licenses, and cease and desist orders.
